Children welcome – dressed in their spooky best! -- to an afternoon of Halloween fun as we celebrate the launch of our new Independent Reader Series, Monster Stories. At 3pm, we're all in for a treat when Master Storyteller and award-winning song smith, Jackson Gillman, joins us with his light-hearted 'Halloween Silly Willies' show -- songs and stories to tickle your funny-bone without scaring your pants off.
A highly visual, energetic and interactive show with all the typical Halloween ingredients, but in light-hearted fun. Stay on for more Barefoot Books stories, some spooky Halloween crafts, and (discounted) pottery painting. All ages.

Barefoot Books is located at 89 Thoreau Street in the Concord Depot. Taking the MBTA's Fitchburg commuter rail line to the 'Concord' stop brings you across the street from our Studio. If driving, we are just 30 minutes northwest of Boston. Take Route 2W to Rte. 62E (RH turn at lighted intersection). Follow <1 mile to another lighted intersection; turn right onto Thoreau Street. Barefoot Books is 2 blocks ahead on your LH side. Free parking in lot alongside our building or in lot directly across Thoreau Street (in spots facing the street). Ample metered street parking.
