Free concert series in Newton Centre featuring different ethnic music every Sunday evening. This week features traditional Klezmer music by Hankus Netsky. Irresistable dance music with traditional Yiddish roots.

Hankus Netsky, a multi-instrumentalist, composer and scholar, is an instructor in jazz and contemporary improvisation at the New England Conservatory in Boston.

He is founder and director of the internationally renowned Yiddish music ensemble Klezmer Conservatory Band, making irresistable, nostalgic Klezmer music with an infectious dance beat. Klezmer music takes its roots from traditional Yiddish music.
