On April 17 at 10 AM at the Medford Public Library, she will share her stories which are perfect for children five years old and up.
Come hear about from the Ewe People of Ghana 'The Beautiful Young Girl with Five Hundred Marriage Proposals' and 'Will Elephant Get To be King of the Animals?' Also from the Ashanti people 'The Hunter and The Tortoise' This program will also include singing and dancing for everyone who comes because African storytelling almost always does.
We won't be doing traditional West African dance, but we will be having a lot of fun!
Also, anyone who has a two or three minute story to share can do so - bring one if you can.'

Medford Public Library is on Route 60, several blocks west of Medford Square, going west towards Arlington (also 111 High St.). To get here depends on where you are coming from, of course: From 128 North take route 2 east to route 60 east through Arlington. If you are coming on route 93 north or south , look for Medford Square exit and get onto Route 60 west from Medford Square. On 60 West, the library will be on your right, across from a large church. The library looks like a “library built in the fifties” with large windows. Go just past library and take right up the side street (Boynton Rd.) to turn right into parking lot.
