What do Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, and a Wicked Witch have in common?
Find out at Lexington Youth Summer Theatre’s (LYST) production of Into the Woods.
Performances are July 18-20th at Grace Chapel in Lexington.
A time-honored tradition, LYST is a nonprofit organization that has been a cherished family cooperative summer theater program for 33 years.
Children in grades 4-12 rehearse almost every day for six weeks, as well as host a car wash, raffle, and other activities to raise money.
Raffle items this year include Red Sox tickets, a ski weekend at Sugarloaf, spa baskets, gift certificates, and more!
Proceeds from LYST go to children’s charities selected by the cast.
Charities this year are: Andover ABC House, the Progeria Foundation, and the Trevor Project.
With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Into the Woods takes audiences beyond the typical “happily ever after” endings of classic Grimm fairy tales.
This adventurous and witty musical combines the stories children love with Sondheim’s sophisticated writing, offering something for everyone.
So bring the whole family to see these local talented thespians and support a great cause!
SHOW TIMES: Thursday & Friday July 18-19 at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, July 20 at 1:00 p.m.

Take exit 31A Lexington (Routes 4 & 225). At the fourth set of lights (Walgreens on right), turn right onto Worthen Road. Grace Chapel is 1/4 mile on the right.
From Lexington Center
Follow Massachusetts Avenue to the Minuteman Statue. Go left and continue on Massachusetts Avenue to next set of lights. Turn right onto Worthen Road. Grace Chapel is on the left.
From Route 2 East or West
Take Route 128 North (I-95) and follow directions above.
