Don’t be surprised if you hear the distinct Nova Scotia accent around Boston in May.
From a 28’ Nova Scotia Lighthouse to culinary demonstrations from Alain Bosse, Nova Scotia’s famous Kilted Chef, Bostonians will have the chance to experience the culture of Nova Scotia on May 17-18, 2014 at Faneuil Hall Marketplace.
The historic location will be transformed, offering a glimpse into the historic, beautifully scenic Canadian province that’s just a short trip away by plane, cruise liner, ferry or even by car.
A life-size, working replica of Nova Scotia’s historic Peggy’s Cove lighthouse will stand in Faneuil Hall Marketplace throughout the weekend.
Dubbed The Nova Scotia Light, it will beckon Bostonians to stop by and sample what Nova Scotia has to offer.
The weekend will also feature some of Nova Scotia’s top music talents, impressive culinary demonstrations by the Kilted Chef and an appearance by some Boston Red Sox legends and the World Series Trophies.
The public will have the chance to win several prizes as well, including the opportunity to throw out the first pitch and tickets to Nova Scotia Day at Fenway Park on Sunday, May 18.
