Under the direction of founding musical director Martin Pearlman, the Boston Baroque period-instrument orchestra and chorus celebrates the holidays with an annual performance of Handel’s Messiah.
This Boston tradition has delighted audiences for decades, and Boston Baroque’s 1992 recording of the Messiah was nominated for a Grammy Award. This year, Boston Baroque brings the voices of Sherezade Panthaki (soprano), William Burden (tenor), Ann McMahon Quintero (mezzo-soprano), and Dashon Burton (bass-baritone) to Jordan Hall.
Ticket holders under 40 are invited to Improper Baroque, our special preconcert reception and networking event for young professionals, an hour before the concert on Friday, December 12.
Friday & Saturday Dec. 12 & 13, 2014 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets: $30 - $85. Students $10 day of concert.
