The youngest and newest ensemble of Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras (BYSO) will perform classical favorites on the evening of Friday, May 15th at Boston Children’s Museum.
BYSO’s Petit Ensemble, comprised of students ages 6-12 and conducted by Marta Zurad will introduce young audiences to the string instruments and will perform children’s favorites such as: My Favorite Things, Feed the Birds, The Muppet Show Theme, and more.
The performance provides an opportunity for more youth to experience classical music.
The uniqueness of very young children playing music for their similarly-aged peers offers an opportunity for these children to interact and creates curiosity for both the young performing musicians and the young audience members.
Kids playing for kids inspires and Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras and Boston Children’s Museum are proud to bring their youth together on May 15th.
