ITINERARY
9:00AM: Tour the military encampment as soldiers dine on an 18th century breakfast.
10:00AM: Watch a musket drill, inspection, and run-through of the Manual of Arms by the Lexington Minute Men on the Common (Battle Green).
11:00AM: Demonstration of 18th century cooking methods and soldiers’ rations.
11:30AM: Watch as an 18th century lunch is served.
12:00PM: Parade by the Lexington Minute Men in military formation with fife and drum.
Muster on the Common.
12:15PM: Watch a musket drill, inspection, and run through of the Manual of Arms by the Lexington Minute Men on the Common, concluded by a total of 10 volleys, one for each Lexington Militiaman killed on April 19th 1775.
1:00-7:00PM: Special holiday tours of Buckman Tavern.
Free for members of Lexington Historical Society; $5 for non-members.
1:30PM: BURN THE TEA!
A ceremonial bonfire will be lit, and members of the audience can join reenactors in throwing tea into the flames!
The William Diamond Junior Fife and Drum Corps will perform.
2:00-4:00PM: Interact with members of the Lexington Minute Men, ask questions, and tour the encampment.
