“Sleeping Beauty” begins in King Felix’s great hall, where guest have gathered to celebrate the birth of Princess Aurora.
The party goes awry when the wicked witch arrives and curses the baby princess.
In this retelling, a painted story book opens to reveal each scene, and hand-crafted marionettes are brought to life by a puppeteer.

Tickets are $9 for LexFUN! members, $10 for nonmembers and free for children ages 12 months and younger. Tickets can be purchased at Michelson's Shoes, 1780 Massachusetts Ave., and Catch a Falling Star, 7 Depot Square, both in Lexington, or at the door. Attendees are asked to bring canned goods to donate to the local food pantry.
