What is art, what is friendship, and which is more important?
Life-long friends Serge, Marc and Yvan are about to find out!
After Serge spends a small fortune on an unusual piece of modern art, he expects Marc and Yvan to be as excited as he is.
Instead, words fly and sparks ignite as the men square off over the canvas.
Lines are drawn (both literally and figuratively) and their ensuing battle grows to encompass not just the painting but past failures and personal failings.
With white-hot wisecracks and discerning commentary, ‘ART’ is a sophisticated, humorous and provocative evening of theatre.
IRNE award nominee Daniel Bourque directs a talented trio of Boston’s finest actors: John Geoffrion (IRNE award winner), Bob Mussett (IRNE award nominee) and Victor Shopov (IRNE and Elliot Norton award winner) in this wickedly contentious and wildly comedic play that will keep you pondering the significance of friendship and the value of art long after you leave the theatre.
