The majority of participants are youth of color from low-income urban neighborhoods ages 14-22.
Many of these youth are at heightened risk of drug and alcohol use, being homeless, and being bullied; yet our programming empowers youth to use their personal experiences and turn them into stories that educate communities about being young and LGBTQ, promoting acceptance and tolerance.
We are excited to welcome True Colors to Metrowest: we encourage all teenagers as well as parents, teachers and community leaders to attend this eye-opening performance and discussion of issues of importance to LGBTQ individuals of all ages.
