Join Boston Theatre Company, Liars & Believers, on an adventure of masks, puppets, and gibberish - with live music by Luminati!
A clownish maintenance crew finds a magical yellow bird, and a mad chase begins. Racing over land, across the sea, and through the air – battling pirates, monsters, and terrible pop songs – how far will our heroes go?
Take a leap into a world of imagination, where birds are magic and everyday folks find friendship and love. Join Liars & Believers on an adventure of masks, puppets, live music, and gibberish - in collaboration with a live band, Luminati, led by the incomparable Johnny Blazes.
Yellow Bird Chase is accessible to Deaf and hard of hearing audiences using innovative physicality and captioning throughout. The performance is 75 minutes with no intermission.
Free 20-minute puppetry workshops for kids will take place after each matinee performance (May 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21). Learn how anything you see can take on a life of its own!
All matinees followed by a free puppetry workshop.
