An all-volunteer orchestra comprised of members of the Boston Symphony, Boston Pops, and Boston Ballet orchestras will perform the music.
Francisco Noya, a professor of conducting at the Berklee School of Music and assistant conductor for the Rhode Island Philharmonic, will serve as the volunteer conductor.
The majority of JFK students are Latinx, and English is not the first language of 60 percent of our students, so the concert will be narrated in English and Spanish.
Angel Subero, a bass trombonist with the Boston Pops, will provide Spanish narration.
Funds raised will benefit the JFK's new music program and our Playworks program.
Tickets are also available at Boing!
and at JFK Elementary.
