The show begins at 2:00 on Sunday, June 2.
The program entitled “Vincent: A Portrait by the Postman Roulin” tells Van Gogh’s passionate story as a man and an artist.
Van Gogh painted over twenty portraits of Roulin and his family that captured the spirit of his postman friend.
Award-winning actor Ted Zalewski becomes Roulin in this one-person show that he created to tell about Van Gogh’s life.
By sitting at café table with a loaf of bread and a glass of wine, he brings both Van Gogh and Roulin to life with a fascinating story.
Zalewski has performed his portrait at such venues as the Smithsonian, the National Theatre and the Normal Rockwell Museum.
Reviews have called his presentations “humorous,” “spellbinding” and “unforgettable.”
