Sunday, March 21 | 3:00 pm ET - World Puppetry Day!

A Hippo Poet in a boat, alone at sea, is stuck in a rut of writer's block. While composing silly odes to his daily routines, he suddenly finds his boat filling with new and peculiar characters seeking shelter and safety.
Through evocative visual scenes, we learn that each creature has fled some disaster: war, fire, or flood. As the newcomers and the Poet struggle to live together on the vessel, they navigate conflict, generosity, kindness, and questions about who they are. Along the way, the Hippo's poems become richer as the unlikely crew learns to steer through threatening waters together.
Recommended for all ages 4 and up. RSVP to get a Zoom link to join!
