Join DrumatiX in 'Rhythm Delivered', a family-friendly show combining tap dance, body percussion, creative drumming, and audience interaction.
DrumatiX will perform 'Rhythm Delivered', a 45-minutes interactive, humorous family-friendly show combining tap dance, body percussion and creative drumming.
Follow the antics of a group of friends as they discover various found items in cardboard boxes and turn them into playable instruments.
The last box reveals a surprise!
Cleaning supplies, plastic pipes, tin cans, buckets, large drums, and more, turn into a magical rhythmic and musical landscape.
At the end of the show, the group will lead a 15 minutes public workshop.
You will get to drum with the company and learn some very fun body percussion moves!
Suitable for all ages
Times: 2:00 PM on August 21st, August 22nd, August 28th, and August 29th, 2021.
An open public rehearsal will take place on August 21st at 11:00 AM.
Location: Charlotte Forten Park, 289 Derby St, Salem, MA 01970.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
*Don't forget to bring your lawn chairs or any other surface you can sit on.
**In case of rain on a specific date, the rehearsal/show on that date will take place at Old Town Hall at 32 Derby Square, Salem, MA 01970.
***Parking is available in surrounding streets or nearby garages.
