CBC is excited to present The Enchanted Toy Shop. Set in 1920 France, this original ballet tells the story of a young girl who loses her doll, Colette, in a busy village square. Colette finds herself in a mysterious toy shop that comes alive at night, where she meets a colorful company of toys, including Fifi the French Doll, a Jester, and the Can-Can't dancers!
The ballet features choreography by CBC's Artistic Director, Chip Morris and Ballet Mistress, Melenie Diarbekirian, and beautiful music by French composers such as Bizet, Ravel and Debussy.
