The concert, which will take place at First Church Cambridge, will feature music by LGBTQIA+ composers including Mari Esabel Valverde, Michael Bussewitz-Quarm, David Brunner, and Joan Szymko that speaks to themes of struggle, solidarity, transformation, and community.
In addition to choral works, the performance will include a timeline of highlights in LGBTQ+ history in America and readings from historical and contemporary LGBTQIA+ writers, leaders, and allies to uplift the experiences of marginalized groups and shine a light on past and current matters related to social justice and diversity.
