After a two-year hiatus, the Hip Hop Festival is back!The 25th Hip Hop Festival will be held on Thursday, April 20th 2023 from 2-3pm in the backyard at 20 Sacramento Street.
Naheem Garcia will return as emcee and Motivate Merren will DJ.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Baldwin School.
Featured artists: KHANScience Wisdom, The Floor Lords, Bakari J.B., Zakiyyah
Admission is a suggested donation of $2 per person or $5 per family.
Afterschool groups may attend for free by contacting Allegra Fletcher, afletcher@agassiz.org.
Billed as “an age-appropriate performance of a style of music children love” and “a great way for students from across Cambridge to interact [and] a networking opportunity for young performers,” the fka Agassiz Baldwin Community Hip Hop Festival is a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.
