Using hand-crafted puppets and Native American flutes and drums, this enchanting play is based on the tale of the great Iroquois hero, Hiawatha. At the Center for the Arts in Natick.

When young Hiawatha decides to seek a vision in the forest, he finds a sacred cave full of wonderful spirits and animals. The curious child meets a wise Mohawk and friends who help him find his path to becoming a brave man.

Since 1979, John Potocnik and Carol Mandigo, co-founders of the Catskill Puppet Theater, have been touring internationally, enchanting young and old with their delightful musical productions! The Catskill Puppet Theater takes great pride in carrying on in the living tradition of the old traveling puppet troupes, bringing high quality children's theater to over 100,000 people each year.
