Take a Walk Summer Backpack Event for Preschoolers!

Our Take a Walk backpacks are full of fun summer activities, waiting for you and your child to join us at a special program.

We’ll start in the Mansion with a story, then go outside and begin exploring together.

There’ll be time for you and your child to explore on your own using the binoculars, magnifying glass and other fun stuff in the bags.

Activities include looking for summer colors, visiting the animals at the farm, building a Gore Place mansion with blocks and more.

For ages 3 and 4 with an adult.

$6 per child, includes backpack rental.

Members free.

No charge for accompanying adult.

Reservations are required by Tuesday, June 3 as we have a limited number of backpacks.

Gore Place is located at 52 Gore Street in Waltham, Massachusetts just off Route 20. From I-90 (Mass Pike) take exit 17 to Watertown Square. Turn left onto Route 20 (Main Street). Travel 1~1/4 miles to Gore Street. From Route 128/I-95 exit 26 to Route 20 east (Main Street) 3~1/2 miles to Gore Street.
