As a project of Citizens for Juvenile Justice, this event is part of our mission to keep kids out of the adult criminal system and to make the juvenile system fair, effective, and focused on rehabilitation and prevention.
This event is one of many 5Ks taking place across the country in October as part of National Youth Justice Awareness Month.
RUN AS A TEAM! Have a few friends that want to join you for the race? Form your own 5K team! Just select a team captain and a team name, and each member of your team will be able to register independently on our online registration site.
What if I'm not a runner? Don't worry, walkers are welcome too! So are families and strollers (children under 10 are FREE!). We do ask that you leave your family pets at home.
Is the 5K timed? Yes, the 5K will be chipped and timed by a professional timing company, and awards will be given to the fastest runners in each age category!
