This race is to honor a fallen comrade, Devin Ness.

Devin died on Jan. 25, 2013 from an aneurysm at the age of 18.

He was a senior at Oliver Ames at the time of his death and was the captain of the school’s wrestling team.

Proceeds:
All proceeds benefit the Devin Ness Wrestling Scholarship Fund and the OA Wrestling Program.

Course Description:
This is a measured 5k road race that starts and finishes at the FLO/HHR School, which is located at 101 Lothrop Street.

The race course begins behind the school and turns left onto Western Ave, turns right onto Coughlin Road, follows Coughlin Road to its end, takes a right on Sheridan Street, follows Sheridan Street to its end, turns right onto Summer Street, continue onto Randall Street to a sharp right into the High School (parallel to the Oliver Ames HS football stadium), then turns into the back of the Middle School.

From Route 24: Exit 17B, Rt. 123 to Easton. At 3rd light, right onto Rt. 138N. At 2nd light, left onto Main St. Go 1 mile, take left on Center Street. Go .7 mile, take a right on Lothrop Street. Go through the stop sign and arrive at the FLO/HHR School on the right. Parking at FLO/HHR, OAHS and Middle Schools.
