Panoramic views of the harbor and Boston from Spectacle Island during our exciting 'Flag Day 5K' road race! Includes run, half-mile kids' fun run, field day competitions, picnic lunch, post-race yoga classes, kids' activities!

8am - 10:15am Ferries Depart Long Wharf North Ferries for runners and spectators depart Boston at 7:50am, 8:15am, 8:40am, 9:00am, and 11:00am, and depart Hingham at 8:15am.

Ticket is included with 5K and Kids' Fun Run registration.

9:30am 5K Race
5K (two loops) flat course on crushed stone around the perimeter of Spectacle Island.

Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winners, as well as top three male and female finishers in following divisions: Ages 12 & under; 13-19 years old; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70-plus.

Technical shirt to first 300 registrants.

Limited bag check will be provided to 5K participants.

Electronic chip timing by RaceWire.

For the safety of participants and in adherence to USATF insurance guidelines, strollers, bicycles, inline skates, skateboards and dogs are not permitted.

USATF sanction and certified.

10:30am Kids' Fun Run
Half-mile fun run for children under 12 from the Visitor Center to the “Saddle” and back.

All participants will receive an award at the finish line.

Registration required.

T-shirts to first 75 registrants.

Please note that children under 12 will need adult supervision if the parents/guardians are running the 5K Race, as we do not have staff assigned to supervise the children.

Join us at the Saddle for field day competitions for all ages including 3-legged-race, wheel barrow race, tug-o'-war, potato sack races and more!

12:00pm Field Day

11:00am Lunch and After Party Picnic lunch is available to registered runners.

Runners must display a valid lunch ticket (included in registration packet).

Lunch includes one beer ticket (for runners 21+), Boloco burrito, one natural soda, and other snacks made available by our race sponsors.

Additional drinks available for purchase.

Spectators have the option to purchase a lunch ticket when registering online.

10:30am - 4:30pm Ferries Depart Spectacle Island Runners and spectators are encouraged to depart the island at the return time specified on their ferry ticket.

Ferries to Boston depart at 10:30am, 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, and 4:30pm.

Ferry to Hingham departs at 12:30pm.
