The fourth annual Boston Strong 2.62 Mile Benefit Walk and 5K Run is scheduled for April 9th, 2016 at Applewild School.

The event will begin at 10 am and will be followed by the free Kid’s Fun Run (at approximately 11am)

Registration deadline for race t-shirts is March 28th for teams and individuals.

All proceeds benefit the Brittany Fund for Trauma and Recovery, an organization founded by Brittany Loring, a survivor of the Boston Marathon Bombing.

Brittany and her sister Alyssa Loring Tirella ’01 are alumni of Applewild School.

The organization’s mission is to provide support to promote the health and wellbeing of families and individuals that have been affected by traumatic events.
