Singer/Songwriter Rachel Cole has been performing Jewish music since childhood. For the past several years she has been the music teacher and service leader at Temple Isaiah in Lexington, Massachusetts. A joyful and melodious singer, Rachel has performed her original compositions in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Washington, Oregon, and in the Boston area.

Rachel’s first CD, Shirim L’Yeladim (Songs for Little Ones), was released in 2002, and music from that CD was featured on Boston radio. Rachel’s second CD, Take My Hand, was released in April 2005 and showcases Rachel’s enchanting voice and innovative music style. By combining traditional liturgy with modern melodies and themes, the music creates a meaningful connection between a beautiful heritage and a renewed celebration of God and the Torah.
