About Radius Ensemble
Recently named ensemble in residence at Harvard-Epworth, Radius Ensemble has earned rave reviews and a dedicated following in just five years by reinvigorating classical music for a new generation.
A chamber music ensemble of winds, strings, and piano, Radius Ensemble performs music from the classical period to the modern era, from beloved masterpieces to undiscovered gems. Its musicians are outstanding
young professionals inspired by tradition, willing to take risks, and committed to connecting with a diverse group of listeners.
Founded in 1999 by oboist Jennifer Montbach, Radius Ensemble’s season includes a fiveconcert series at Harvard-Epworth in Harvard Square, including a free Saturday-morning family concert and a free community ticket program offering tickets to disadvantaged children and their parents or mentors.
Harvard-Epworth is wheelchair-accessible and convenient to public transportation. Radius Ensemble furnishes large-print or Braille programs by request, and strives to provide additional accommodations as needed. Radius Ensemble, Incorporated, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a Massachusetts public charity.
