The Misdirected Series is an exciting collection of plays for young audiences, based on classic fairy-tales, but with an added twist. Rumplestiltskin follows the continuing adventures of Artistic Director, Margaret LaFontaine, and her (mostly) fearless stage crew as they attempt to stage their very first performance of Rumplestiltskin without the Misdirected Players, the actors who continually fail to appear for performances.

This time they take it upon themselves to present the story of the mysterious little man whose name seems to elude the entire kingdom. Can the miller's daughter really spin straw into gold? Will she discover the strange little man's name in time to save her own family? Is there any hope for love and romance in the life of a strange little man?

Learn the answers to these questions and more! Come see Margaret and her company as they pool their storytelling talents yet again to bring you and your family this thrilling and entertaining tale! Performances are February 3rd and 10th at the Coolidge Corner Theatre. A raffle and prize drawing is scheduled for the February 3rd performance. An additional performance on February 17th is also scheduled at The Regent Theatre in Arlington. Tickets are $10.00 for Adults & $8.00 for Children.

Makeshift Theatre opened its first season in 2005 under the name TRiBE for CHiLDREN, as a branch of the local improv and artist's community, The Tribe. TRiBE for CHiLDREN premiered with Robin Hood, the first play in the Misdirected Series by Jack Neary, a local playwright, nationally acclaimed and well-known for his heartfelt humor and wit. With the highly popular performance of Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp in the summer of 2006, TRiBE for CHiLDREN officially became Makeshift Theatre Company and is now happy to be in its second season of tremendously successful Saturday morning children's shows. A greatly anticipated, full-length, family-friendly play is planned for the summer of 2007.

Makeshift Theatre is dedicated to affordable, high-quality theatre that will entertain and engage audiences of all ages and excite a new generation of theatergoers. For more information or to contact the Makeshift Theatre Co., please visit www.makeshifttheatre.com
