Join REI and Celebrate spring with us as we plant hundreds of native trees, shrubs and flowers in the natural setting of Nira Rock Urban Wild. This park in the heart of Jamaica Plain has undergone an amazing transformation over the last few years: this spring's planting will be the phase that really brings out its beauty. You'll also get to check out Nira's unique 50-foot puddingstone cliff, and check out the views from the top.

Please wear work gloves and bring planting tools if you have them, and be prepared to get your hands dirty! (Kids are always welcome at Nira Rock, but might be a bit of a distraction on this work-focused day--use your own judgment.)
