The City of Boston is offering two hours of free metered parking at each of the city’s parking meters on Dec 3, 10, 17 & 24.

Weekend shoppers will enjoy two free hours of metered parking throughout the city's commercial districts, including downtown on consecutive Saturdays starting November 26th through December 24th, as well as on Friday, November 25th.

While the meters will be free on these days, a two-hour time limit will be enforced by the Boston Transportation Department to accommodate as many visitors as possible in shopping districts.
