Santa Arrives in Quincy by Helicopter
Another great holiday tradition in Quincy is when Santa Claus and a few of his elves arrive by helicopter, landing at Pageant Field, at this fun family event.While waiting for the touchdown of the Jolly Old Elf and friends, say hello to one of the friendly costumed characters!
If wind and weather conditions are favorable, the North Pole entourage will touch down at between 12-12:30 p.m.
After his arrival, Santa and his elves will ride the fire engine through downtown Quincy to the Quincy Center fire station.
Don't forget to write letter's to Santa and drop in his mailbox available for children through late December on the library lawn. And the annual Christmas Parade will take place on November 26, 2022 from 12:00pm - 3:00pm.
The annual parade has been a tradition for Quincy families for many years. Floats, marching bands, and costumed characters fill Quincy streets, spreading the holiday joy to all.
The parade route begins at the intersection of Hancock Street and Walter J. Hannon Parkway, continuing up Hancock Street to North Quincy High School.
