Local parents, both from Arlington and surrounding towns, are welcome to join for a free night of one-stop shopping for their childcare needs.
“This is a wonderful chance for busy parents to come to one place and meet the faces behind Arlington’s great preschools and daycare centers all at once,” says AFC volunteer, Rebecca Bromark. “Parents can save time and gas, not having to drive all over town to pick up brochures and applications.”
There are nearly twenty licensed preschools and daycare centers in town with a large variety of programs. “Parents can ask key questions in person and learn about the large variety of programs, so that they select the very best program for their child,” adds Bromark.
Arlington Family Connection’s handy and newly updated 2012 Childcare & Preschool Options in Arlington booklets will be available for purchase ($5).
Event admission is free and open to the public.
Children are welcome, as there will be babysitting in a play area and light refreshments.
