JOURNEY THROUGH LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT IN A MONTESSORI SCHOOL
Join us for an exciting introduction by Apple Valley Montessori faculty on how language is taught and learned within the unique environment of a Montessori school.
Have you ever wondered how it is that a child begins to learn language and how that process develops and unfolds as they grow older?
In this evening presentation, our Head Toddler, Primary, and Elementary teachers will highlight the methods used in Montessori education language development.
The discussion will include an overview of the materials used in the Montessori classroom to nurture a child's exploration of language during the early stage at 15 months old through the progression of being fully articulate and on into literacy in the elementary years.
Learn how a child's world opens up as they go from making introductory sounds, to phonetic reading, comprehension, grammar and beyond.
