Scientists from area universities visit frequently, discussing topics such as silk science, ground penetrating radar, archaeology, bombardier beetles, and ocean engineering.
Every week, students spend hours in the adjoining conservation land climbing trees and identifying wildlife.
In the woods, we practice “mindful writing,” describing what we hear, see, and feel.
We begin public speaking in Kindergarten: students write and present every two weeks at All-School Assemblies.
