Inspired by MIT Edgerton Center's 'The Saturday Thing,' the EurekaLab opens its doors to anyone looking to tinker, make and create.
Initiated by Ed Moriarty, The Saturday Thing is known for 'unstructured play in a constructive environment.' In past Saturday Things, people young and not-so-young have designed and printed with 3D printers, learned how to solder, created laser-cut gifts, made water rockets, experimented with electric circuits, and more.
The November 16h Saturday Thing is ONLY open to families outside the Meadowbrook School community.
This is not a drop-off event; parents must accompany their child(ren) and families may come anytime between 10-12, and do not have to stay all three hours.
Children in grades Junior Kindergarten to 8th grade are welcome.
Space is limited -- register today!
There is no fee to attend.
