Get outside and join us for Summer Fun, Discovery, and Adventure! This summer we will explore our world through fun, exciting outdoor activities and natural crafts and games. Each week of our summer program is devoted to a nature-based theme and is led by professional environmental educators and naturalists. Programs will be based at the NRWA's River Resource Center with trips to J. Harry Rich State Forest and Groton's own historic Williams Barn. All sessions run for four days from 9am to 3pm. The cost per session is $170/NRWA members or $200/non-members.

Program Dates and Ages:
Adventure Week: Ages 11-14, July 6-9 A popular program for older children who will hike, paddle, & learn backcountry basics and teambuilding skills.
Eco-Explorers Week: Ages 6-10, July 12-15 Explore the local world while orienteering, try your hand at map-making, learn how to track wildlife, and go on a geo-caching adventure.
Water Week: Ages 6-10, July 19-22 Get wet this summer while investigating our ponds and river, meeting aquatic creatures up close, doing experiments with water, and even testing out some water balloons.
Fantastic Fridays: Ages 6-10, July 16 and 23 We will take a hike, play some active team games, cook over a campfire, and make a cool craft.
This summer, Fridays will be fantastic thanks to hours of outdoor fun and games. Each week we will take a hike, play some active team games, cook over a campfire, and make a cool craft. Fantastic Fridays run from 9am to 3pm. The cost per day is $42/NRWA members or $50/day for non-members.
