February Vacation Week Theater Program at Firehouse Center for the Arts for 5th-10th graders!

February 21-25, Mon-Fri
9am-2:30pm
A week-long intensive program in theater, performance, and play writing for students, Grades 5 - 10. Student will have the opportunity to perform on the stage for their families on the final day of the program!

AREAS OF INSTRUCTION INCLUDE:
Advanced Acting Technique, Improvisation, Elements of Stage Craft, Scene Study, Self-Scripted Performance, Play writing for Actors, Ensemble Play-making and Audition Technique.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS:

GREGORY S. MOSS is a playwright and performer. He received his MFA in Play writing from Brown University, and
is a 2010-2011 Jerome Fellow in Play writing. Recent acting credits include the world premieres of Sheila Callaghan’s
That Pretty Pretty at Brown University and Neighborhood 3: Requisition of Doom at Playwrights’ Rep. His own plays
include punkplay (Clubbed Thumb, NYC); Steppenwolf Garage, Chicago), Orange, Hat & Grace (Soho Rep, NYC).

BONNIE JEAN WILBUR is a staple of the local theater community, as a performer, director, and costumer. She received her BA in Theater Arts from Hampshire College and completed an internship in Drama in Education with Dorothy Heathcott at the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. She has worked with Greg Moss in a number of productions, including Richard III for Theater in the Open, Terradactyls, and Elephant Man, both at the Firehouse. She has experience working with youth of all ages, and costumes the theatrical productions at Governor's Academy.
