On-going winter bird banding demonstrations
Owl family presentations with Lisa Hutchings at 11am
Eagle family presentation with Lisa Hutchings at 1pm
Activities are happening all over the building:
Winter bird banding with Deb LaRoy (weather permitting)
Take the Raptor ID challenge, raptor origami, raptor collages, experiments about owl vision, hearing and feeding, examine an owl pellet.
Take the talon challenge to feed like a bald eagle
Let’s make crafts like bald eagle stick puppets and masks, eagles on the river stamping projects, and snowy owl babies! (Suggested for Age 2 – 6)

From Rt. I-95: Take exit 57 (Rt. 113, W Newbury/Newburyport). At the end of the exit ramp take Rt. 113 east. Follow Rt.113 and Rt. 1A for 3.8 miles through Newburyport to Rolfe's Lane in Newbury. At the traffic light at Rolfe’s Lane, take a left (heading north). Drive 0.6 miles to the end of Rolfe’s Lane and take a right. The sanctuary is 0.1 miles ahead on the left.
