The Goethe-Institut Boston is pleased to offer a Carnival-themed arts workshop in the spirit of the Deutsche Fastnacht. Over the course of three sessions, children will learn about Folklore and theater tradition by making festival masks, hand puppets and shadow puppets.

The fourth and last session focuses on storytelling and takes place on Sunday, Feb. 26th, where the children get a chance to perform their own stories with their newly created puppets and masks! Instructors will reenact and draw from beloved German stories such as Kasper and Grete and Sibylle von Olfers' The Root Children!
