Come to the Old State House to drop-in on one of our hands-on historical activities! All activities take place continuously between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. and are free with museum admission.

Experience the life of an 18th Century sailor by learning to tie sailing knots. Also, make and take home your own piece of scrimshaw (whale bone carving), which was a popular pastime for sailors, and learn to tie sailing knots.
