This April public school vacation week, Tuesday, April 17—Friday, April 20, visit the Library for a week of free admission and programming, based on our new exhibit, Impressions on Paper: Mary Baker Eddy, Writer.

Visitors to the Library will be invited to participate in various activities including making their own 'zig-zag' journal and writing an acrostic poem!

During Mary Baker Eddy's lifetime, many people relied on newspapers, letters, and other forms of written communication to get news of events. Despite changes in how we communicate, we still often use writing to express our thoughts, feelings, and ideas today.

This program will highlight the importance of writing as a form of communication and expression, both in the past and present. As always, our school vacation week program includes free tours of the Mapparium® and free admission to the Library for children ages 17 and under.
