Snowshoe on the Story Trail

Beginning on Monday, February 16th through Saturday, February 21st, a special children’s book will be on display for visitors to read as they snowshoe or walk the designated trail at Gore Place.
Each page of the children’s book about winter warmth will be posted at different points on the property.
Moving from page to page, visitors can read a book from cover to cover while spending time outdoors.
Snowshoes are available for one hour rental and the Story Trail is free.
The snowshoes come in sizes for toddlers through adults.
One hour rental is $8 ages 16 and up, $5 for children.
Gore Place members free.
Snowshoes are available (when grounds are snow-covered) Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. Reservations for groups of 10 or more only.
