A free summer program for youth ages 7-13, Recreation Worcester includes five weeks of free, supervised, drop-in recreation programs at 11 parks across the city of Worcester.
Programming features organized sports, literacy and arts activities, and special guest appearances.
Special guests include: Worcester Bravehearts, Worcester's Library Express, National Grid, HOOP Central, Mass Audubon and more.
Programming will take place at the following sites: Beaver Brook Park (9 Mann St.), Burncoat Playground (525 Burncoat St.),
East Park (180 Shrewsbury St.), Greenwood Park (14 Forsberg St.),
Kendrick Field (40 Brooks St.), Lake Park (281 Lake Ave.),
Logan Field (539 Mill St.), Oread Castle Park (20 Alden St.),
University Park (965 Main St.), Vernon Hill Park (87 Providence St.), and
Bennett Field (1260 Main St.).
No registration is necessary; however, participants may pre-register at: worcesterma.gov/recreationworcester.
