Let our naturalists and volunteers show you the wonderful world of raptors and polar animals!
Drop in anytime and bring friends.
Daily presentations scheduled for 11am & 1pm with Lisa Hutchings.
All materials will be provided.

MONDAY FEBRUARY 15: WILDLIFE AROUND THE WORLD (THINK jungle, savannah, and rainforest) Families are encouraged to dress in wonderful wildlife clothes and kids can bring their jungle/safari toy animal for the presentations!
· Arts and Crafts may include: safari hats, animal handprint zoo, Design a Safari Wildlife Preserve workshop
· Science Stations may include: animal speeds, where is safari wildlife, camouflage in the grasslands
· “Rumble in the Jungle” family presentation with Lisa Hutchings.
Times: 11:00am & 1:00pm
· Family Presentations with Lisa Hutchings / 11am: Going on Safari & 1pm: Rumble in the Jungle
TUESDAY FEBRUARY 16: TAKE TO THE SKIES!
(Hummingbirds, Quetzals, Snowy Owls and Hawks).
Families are encouraged to dress in their “birdy best” clothes and children can bring their favorite stuffed bird toy for the presentations!
· Science Activities may include: Bird Olympics – the fastest dive, heaviest body, strongest skull, longest flight!
· Arts and Crafts may include: paper plane falcons, rainforest bird puppets, build a bird workshop
· Winter Bird Banding with Deb LaRoy.
Times: ongoing all day
· Family Presentations with Lisa Hutchings / 11am: All About Owls & 1pm: Amazing Eagles
WEDNESDAY FEBRUARY 17: ANIMALS OF THE ICE!
(Seals, Arctic Fox, Snowy Owls, and Polar Bears) Families are encouraged to dress in their amazing Arctic animal clothes and children can bring their favorite Arctic / Antarctic toy animal for the presentations!
· Science Activities may include: buoyant birds, Where are the Poles, Penguin Feather Poll, Waterproofing Wildlife,
· Arts and Crafts may include: Arctic animal masks, Snowy Owl paintings, Stuff a Seal workshop,
· Family Presentation with Lisa Hutchings / 11am: The Life of a Polar Bear & 1pm: The World of Penguins
