Seining the Salt March at Rough Meadows:
Joppa Flats Naturalists are ready for an out-of-school adventure, and they have all the field equipment we'll need to go on a mini-trek to explore some of our favorite habitats.
At Rough Meadows, we’ll set fish traps and search for tiny snails and scud, then go on a salt marsh scavenger hunt.

This program does not take place at the Joppa Flats Education Center. This is a drop-in program, no pre-registration required. Adults must accompany children. Themes are subject to change. Wear layers and waterproof footwear and wear long pants that you can tuck inside socks or boots for safety, warmth and comfort. Parking is free but limited. Come early to get a space. Plan to arrive early or stay later and extend your stay with a family picnic!
Note: There are no public restrooms at this locations. Please plan accordingly.
