Dip Netting at Mill Pond and Wooden Trails:
Joppa Flats Naturalists are ready for an out-of-school adventure, and they have all the field equipment we'll need to go on a mini-trek to explore some of our favorite habitats.
At Mill Pond, we'll bring the buckets, scoops, nets, microscopes, and guides to see what freshwater life is springing forth.

Meet at Mill Pond in West Newbury. This is a drop-in program, no pre-registration required. Adults must accompany children. Themes are subject to change. Wear layers and waterproof footwear and wear long pants that you can tuck inside socks or boots for safety, warmth and comfort. Parking is free but limited. Come early to get a space. Plan to arrive early or stay later and extend your stay with a family picnic!
Note: There are no public restrooms at this locations. Please plan accordingly.
