Microscope Hike at Amesbury Town Forest:
Joppa Flats Naturalists are ready for an out-of-school adventure, and they have all the field equipment we'll need to go on a mini-trek to explore some of our favorite habitats.
At the Amesbury Town Forest, we’ll use microscopes and set up mini-quadrants on the trails to examine the tiny hidden wildlife in the forest and vernal pool.

Meet at Amesbury Town Forest.
This is a drop-in program, no pre-registration required. Adults must accompany children. Themes are subject to change. Wear layers and waterproof footwear and wear long pants that you can tuck inside socks or boots for safety, warmth and comfort. Parking is free but limited. Come early to get a space. Plan to arrive early or stay later and extend your stay with a family picnic!
Note: There are no public restrooms at these locations. Please plan accordingly.
