Do you like playing with your food?

Looking for something fun to do over the school break?

Join us at the Waterworks Museum for a Candy Engineering Workshop!

First, we’ll read “One Sweet Race.” Then, we’ll learn a little bit about simple machines and the engineering design process.

Finally, we’ll make our own Candy Cars and experiment with different gumdrop structures.

This workshop is recommended for ages 4 – 10.

This program will last about 30-40 minutes.

Participants are welcome to explore the museum after the program's completion.

Each participating family will have their own workstation spaced at least 6 feet in distance from other families.

Hand sanitizer will be available for everyone and all visitors over 2 years of age are required to wear a face mask while inside the museum.

Please note that you only need to purchase one ticket ($5) for each participating child.

Each participating child can be accompanied by up to 2 adults for no additional charge.

This workshop will be run twice on 12/30: first at 10am and then again at 3:30pm.
