All week, we will keep children of all ages virtually engaged while school is out with daily STEAM activities, fascinating interviews with working engineers, and spotlights on some of the world’s most groundbreaking engineers.
The fun includes special workshops and activities:
Special Events:
Exploring circuits/getting lightbulbs to work using batteries
Build a sculpture that can balance on its own
“Boxitects” storytime (children’s book about a little girl who builds houses out of
boxes)
Cup stacking
Building structures with marshmallows
Rainbow paper (STEAM experiment to create rainbow patterns on paper with water,
black paper, and clear nail polish
