Reserve your ticket now and don't miss your chance to explore the Courtyard and galleries, watch the Luminary Lens films in Calderwood Hall, or get creative and draw your own geometric design of the museum with our Polly Thayer Starr Studio Artist Rayna Lo!
Join the Polly Thayer Starr Studio Artist, Rayna Lo in the Bertucci Education Studio and create your own geometric contemporary illustration of the Courtyard.
In Calderwood Hall, watch the Luminary Lens series, featuring the exploration of works of art in the Gardner Museum collection by our Neighborhood Salon Luminaries.
This series shares commissions of new performances, music, community projects, and art-making that was inspired by the Gardner Museum collection.
Modeled after Isabella Stewart Gardner’s legacy as a curator and hostess of artist salons around the turn of the century, the Neighborhood Salon Luminary program is a gathering of Boston's select artists and cultural luminaries that nurtures an active exchange of ideas between Boston's most innovative and thoughtful creatives, fostering collaborations and artistic networks, while shaping Gardner Museum programming.
Explore the special exhibition, Being Muholi: Portraits of Resistance, on view in Hostetter and Fenway galleries and the façade of the museum.
Then, pause at the courtyard to take in the orchids display and check out a brief guided meditation on your mobile device or pick up a sketching card to capture inspiration you find in the galleries.
